Boycott Ubisoft

That's right. They make great games, but after reading this little FAQ about their new internet required to play policy, I'm calling it quits with them. I was going to purchase Assassin's Creed 2, but that will no longer happen. I refuse to support a company who intends on making a product that requires a connection to even play at all, in any capacity.

Supposedly, all of Ubisoft's releases henceforth will utilize this contemptuous, evil form of DRM. We, the gamers must fight this battle around the globe right now before the entire development community picks up on this the way the music industry did. The battle with the music industry over DRM should have told Ubisoft everything they needed to know about this, but it appears we need to teach them a lesson.

Sadly, Ubi is one of those "money talks" companies. They don't care if they upset us, as long as we purchase their products. Therefore, one must conclude the only way to send them a clear message is to hurt their pocketbook with a world-wide boycott.
